King Biscuit Flower Hour Presents Ringo & His New All-Starr Band is the 20th album or the sixth live album by Ringo Starr after the separation of the Beatles . It was released on August 6, 2002 in the United States. The album was not released in Germany or Great Britain. The album was released again in August 2006 under the title Ringo Starr and Friends .

History of origin

After the release of the live album The Anthology… So Far in February 2001, Ringo Starr went on a US tour from July 26th to September 2nd, 2001 and gave 29 concerts with the Seventh All-Starr-Band.

The concert was recorded on August 22, 2001 at the Rosemont Theater in Chicago and released on CD by King Biscuit a year later.

Cover design

The cover is from BFG Communications . The cover photos were taken by Paul Natkin. The CD is accompanied by a hinged, illustrated eight-page booklet that contains information about the musicians and the tour.
