Extended Versions is the 22nd music album or the seventh live album by Ringo Starr after the separation of the Beatles . It was released in the United States on June 1, 2003. The album was not released in Germany or Great Britain.
History of origin
After the release of the last live album The Anthology… So Far in February 2001, Ringo Starr went on a US tour from July 26th to September 2nd, 2001 and gave 29 concerts with the Seventh All-Starr Band.
On August 22, 2001 the concert was recorded at the Rosemont Theater in Chicago and parts of the concert were released on CD by King Biscuit under the title King Biscuit Flower Hour Presents Ringo & His New All-Starr Band in August 2002. Another year later, in June 2003, the Tonträgergesellschaft BMG published another five previously unpublished songs from this concert under the title Extended Versions , so that a total of 21 of the 26 songs in the concert are available on the two CDs.

Extended Versions is not an individual album title, but the name of a series of CDs that BMG has released with various artists. After the album was released, the record deal with BMG in the USA was discontinued, as it was only a release within the extended version series .
Ringo Starr sang five of the ten songs on the CD.
