History and equipment

Flond belonged to the church of Ilanz until the Reformation , which was adopted in 1526 . In 1713 Flond received its own church, and in 1731 Ilanz was replaced and an independent parish was founded. After Jakob Rudolf Truog, Flond received permission from the synod in 1714 to hold its own public worship. In 1726 there is a separate pastor's salary through a fund. The church is prominently built on a rock and characterizes the village through the steeple with a pointed helmet .

The nave inside is covered by a barrel vault . The choir is clearly narrowed compared to the sermon room. In the middle there is a baptismal font , which is also used as a sacrament table. On the arch in front of the choir, a large panorama designed by the painter Leonhard Meisser (1902–1977) from Chur depicts the blessing of children by Jesus ( Gospel of Mark 10: 13-16).
