Lubomír Štrougal III government
The Czechoslovak government Lubomír Štrougal III , led by Prime Minister Lubomír Štrougal , was in office from November 11, 1976 to June 17, 1981. It followed the Lubomír Štrougal II government and was replaced by the Lubomír Štrougal IV government .
Government formation, program
In the government declaration, the Prime Minister praised the successes of normalization that had overcome the crisis of 1968 (according to the party idiom at the time for the Prague Spring ) and promised further development in this direction, especially many efforts in the economic field; The overall situation during the term of office showed, however, that the real situation was characterized by a resurgence of the opposition movement, which then culminated on January 1, 1977 with the establishment of Charter 77 and shaped the further domestic political situation in the next few years.
