Biedenkopf administrative district

The administrative district of Biedenkopf was one of 11 administrative districts that were established in the Grand Duchy of Hesse after the March Revolution in 1848 and dissolved again in 1852.

history

The Biedenkopf administrative district was formed in 1848 from the Biedenkopf district. As a product of the March Revolution, this regional reform was reversed after the victory of the restorative forces in the reaction era in 1852, when the Biedenkopf and Vöhl districts were formed from the Biedenkopf administrative district .

The seat of the administrative district was Biedenkopf .

At the head of the administrative district was government councilor Adolf Karl Friedrich Wilhelm Trapp from 1848 to 1852 .
