Regina Bätz

Regina Bätz , often mistakenly Regin e Bätz or Baetz (born January 6, 1944 in the German Reich ) is a German costume designer .

Live and act

Regina Bätz trained as a tailor and attended fashion school before starting her professional career as a costume assistant in 1968. Four years later, she became a costume designer. In this role, Bätz supplied her designs to a large number of television films and series, but (especially in the 1980s) also feature films. The directors she has worked with include Tom Toelle , Dieter Wedel , Edgar Reitz , Kurt Gloor , Wolfgang Staudte , Axel Corti , Robert van Ackeren , Vadim Glowna and several times Percy Adlon .

Some of the successful cinema productions of the time at the box office and critically acclaimed, including Adlons Out of Rosenheim and Ackerens Die Venusfalle , refined their costumes from the 1980s . Bätz initially also oversaw various crime thrillers in the Tatort series. At the beginning of the new millennium, Regina Bätz returned to the crime scene after a long absence and supplied the WDR episodes of this series by director Kaspar Heidelbach with the investigative duo Ballauf / Schenk with her costume designs . Before Regina Bätz retired in the early 2010s, she also worked with the Austrian director Reinhard Schwabenitzky .
