Regina Hilber

Regina Hilber (born January 13, 1970 in Hausleiten ) is an Austrian writer .

Life

Regina Hilber lived in Zirl for a long time , and has lived in Vienna since 2006. After long periods of work in the USA and Italy, the first publications are created. In addition to individual publications, Regina Hilber's contributions have appeared in numerous anthologies and literary magazines. Her lyric cycles and prose works have received numerous awards and have been translated into several languages. In addition to the lyrical works, numerous essays and prose pieces are published. She also works as a publicist and editor. She herself worked for the magazine Cognac & Biskotten .

“Your writing is characterized by being on the move, always with a focus on political and socially critical topics. Both in her essays and in her poetry cycles, the respective region / landscape is relocated and linked with current socio-political and historical references. She is a member of the IG authors authors and the GAV . She was selected as one of 55 participants in the European poetry project Versopolis. Regina Hilber has been reflecting on the dramaturgies of everyday life in literature, society, philosophy and film in her weblog magazine DIE LAVOIR [di: la'vu: ɐ] since 2019.
