Regina Luca

Regina Luca , b. Murtasina (born October 15, 1988 in the Kyrgyz SSR , Soviet Union ) is a Kyrgyz-German dancer in the fields of standard and Latin American dances .

Life

The daughter of a dancing couple has been interested in dancing since she was four, and when she was five she took part in a competition for the first time. In October 2000 she moved to Germany. After moving a few times, she now lives in Pforzheim . Since 2011 she has been running her own dance school Magic Dance in Karlsruhe . She also works as a judge.

Regina Murtasina became known to a wide audience as the dance partner of actor Thomas Drechsel in the eighth season of Let's Dance, which aired in 2015 . The couple took fifth place. In the ninth season of the RTL dance show a year later, she left with the football coach Thomas Häßler after the fifth round. In 2018 she danced with Thomas Hermanns , in 2019 with Kerstin Ott and in 2020 with John Kelly .

In November 2015 she married the professional dancer Sergiu Luca .
