Reichenbach is a district of the town of Dahn in the Rhineland-Palatinate district of Südwestpfalz .
location
It is located about two kilometers southeast of the city center in the middle of the Dahner Felsenland, directly on the boundary with Schindhard. The Wieslauter flows through the village . At the height of Reichenbach it takes the Langenbach and the Kuhbach from the left .

The federal highway 427 runs right through the town . In the immediate vicinity of Reichenbach, but partly already in the district of Schindhard, the state road 489 branches off to Bundenthal-Rumbach, the district road 39 to Erfweiler and the district road 41 to the Bärenbrunnerhof .

The Wieslauterbahn also passes Reichenbach. Along the latter, at the height of Reichenbach, is the Busenberg - Schindhard stop , which actually functioned as an operating point for two neighboring communities of the same name.
The station was also a train station before it was dismantled to a stopping point . The two eponymous communities are a few kilometers away. It got its name because it mainly served them and Erfweiler . Nevertheless, he was unofficially referred to as Reichenbach in the past . In the 1980s he still had a siding.
From the 1930s onwards it also had a signal box that has since been converted into a holiday home. A carpenter also bought the former station building in 1983, which had since been run down. He converted it into a restaurant . In 1998 it received an extension and two years later the outdoor area was changed.

With the biosphere tour and the Pamina cycle path Lautertal , which runs from Hinterweidenthal to Neuburg am Rhein , two cycle paths also lead past the western edge of the village, as does the long-distance hiking path Donnersberg-Donon marked with a red bar . The planetary hiking trail also runs through Reichenbach and extends from Hinterweidenthal to Bruchweiler-Bärenbach. In addition, there is a so-called holiday station on site
