course

The Langenbach rises in Wasgau at an altitude of 241  m above sea level. NN in a forest meadow in the Finstertal . It initially flows in a south-easterly direction and forms a small pond a good fifty meters from the source. A good hundred meters further down the stream, it changes direction to the south. At Waldgewann Im Bottental, it accumulates to a small forest lake. It now runs through the Gewann Großwiesen between the Trögenberg ( 323.2  m above sea level ) on its right and the Winterberg ( 447.8  m above sea level ) on the left, then flows along the eastern slope of the Wölmersberg and then reaches the Outskirts of Erfweiler . He passes this town partly underground and leaves it again at the Alsenborn meadows . In the Stockäcker field , he is strengthened on his left by the Breitenbach . The Langenbach now flows west of the Hornbühl through the Fischwoog meadows , accompanied by the K 39 . It now changes to the area of the Dahn community and then runs between the Mittelberg ( 352  m above sea level ) on the right and the Kahlenberg ( 398.9  m above sea level ) on the other side past the Fischwoogmühle . Then his path leads through the Lange Rothwiese . Its course there forms the border between the Dahn and the community of Schindhard . It still passes under the B 427 and finally flows out at an altitude of 198  m above sea level. NN from the left into the Wieslauter .
