Pure Ponschab

Reiner Ponschab (born September 5, 1943 in Beijing , China ) is a German lawyer and business mediator .

Life

From 1962 to 1968 he studied law at the Universities of Munich and Freiburg and received his doctorate in international law from the University of Tübingen in 1975 . He was also a certified tax lawyer .

In addition to studying law, he studied psychology at the University of Munich and took courses in negotiation and mediation at Harvard Law School . He completed training in transaction analysis , systemic consulting and NLP .

From 1974 he worked as a lawyer for KPMG and PwC, among others, with a focus on business and tax law and business mediation. Since 2005 he has been of counsel at Heussen Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH.

He has or had teaching assignments at the New Bulgarian University in Sofia / Bulgaria, the University of Bielefeld , the Biberach University and the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing . He was also a member of the committee for out-of-court dispute resolution in the German Bar Association. Ponschab is a member of the board of the European Institute for Conflict Management eV (EUCON) and Vice President of the German Forum for Mediation (DFfM) e. V.

In 2005 he received the Socrates Prize for Mediation from the Central for Mediation for his life's work.
