Reinhard Heyd

Reinhard Heyd (* 1956 in Schwäbisch Gmünd ) is a German business economist , entrepreneur and university professor .

Life

After graduating from high school, Heyd studied economics from 1976 to 1980 , specializing in business administration, at the University of Hohenheim . In 1982 at the University of Stuttgart promotion to Dr. rer. pole. with the work objectives and functionality of annual financial statements according to the pre-parliamentary government submissions for an accounting directive law with special consideration of the protection of interests and the weighting of interests in different legal forms . Then until 2012 Heyd took over management positions in the family business in the jewelry industry in Schwäbisch Gmünd.

1995 took place calling for Professor of Accounting and Controlling at the University of Cooperative Education Heidenheim , then in 1996 appointed professor of Accounting and Controlling at the University of Cooperative Education Stuttgart . From 2001 to 2012 Heyd held the professorship for accounting and controlling at the Nürtingen-Geislingen University before he was appointed professor for accounting according to commercial and tax law at the Aalen University in 2012 .

Heyd accompanied teaching assignments at the University of Stuttgart, California State University, Fullerton and at the University of Ulm . In 1999 he was appointed honorary professor at Ulm University .

Research priorities

Heyd deals with the organization of companies and with external factors influencing companies. He also researches, among other things, the balance sheet management of international corporations .
