Reinhard Kösters

Reinhard Kösters (born October 21, 1931 in Delbrück ; † March 9, 2018 in Rietberg ) was a German Roman Catholic priest and theologian .

Life

Reinhard Kösters visited the Theodorianum in Paderborn and after the end of the Second World War studied philosophy and Catholic theology at the Leokonvikt in Paderborn and at the Jesuit University Canisianum in Innsbruck , especially with Karl Rahner . Koster received on 20 December 1958 at the Paderborn Cathedral, the priesthood and served as vicar in Dortmund-Marten operates. In addition to his work in the Sudhagen parish from 1961 to 1977 , he received his doctorate in theology in Munich in 1977 .

Kösters taught from 1971 to 1993 at the Catholic University of Applied Sciences (KFH) in Paderborn in the social affairs department as a professor of philosophical and theological anthropology . From 1977 to 2018 he was also the clergyman rector of the Christian education center Die Hegge . From 1981 to 2008 he was also the parish administrator in Niesen, Fölsen and Helmern.

He was a member of the Rotary Club Bad Driburg .
