Reinhard "Reini" Petereit , alias Mr. Petereit (born August 14, 1960 ) is a German musician , singer , guitarist , composer and lyricist .

biography

Reinhard Petereit co-founded the band Rockhaus in 1978 , where he worked as a lyricist, composer and guitarist. From 1979 to 1983 he attended the Friedrichshain Music School and then from 1986 to 1989 the "Hanns Eisler" Music Academy in East Berlin . In 1986 he was part of the guitarist for Ralf Bursy and the Gitarreros .

In 1998 the band disbanded for the time being and Petereit played with the Berlin support band of Hervé Rozoum & Paul Ekness' Gunslingers, Glam Rock Band, Die Zöllner , JUMP Arena, Bataillon d'Amour , André Herzberg Band (formerly Pankow ), Joachim Witt and Silly . He also produced the album Detached from André Herzberg . He also worked on the musicals The Rocky Horror Show and Shakespeare And Rock N Roll , as a second substitute for the guitarist Hervé Rozoum.

From 1999 to 2000 he worked in the theater production Die Räuber (director Armin Petras at the State Theater Hanover) as a musician, composer and actor. He then worked as a musician at the folk song evening under director Christina Emig-Könning at the Freie Kammerspiele in Magdeburg.

In 2001 he worked as a musician, composer and actor for Midsummer Night's Dream (director Armin Petras at the Residenztheater in Munich ). In the same year he worked under the director Peter Kastenmüller bei Bad at the Dramatik 01 authors' festival in Hanover as a musician, composer and actor. A year later, in 2002, he worked as a musician, composer and actor for Spiel des Lebens under the director Armin Petras at the Schauspiel in Frankfurt am Main.

Since 2003 he has worked as a musician, composer and actor with Sterne über Mansfeld under the director Armin Petras at the Schauspiel Leipzig. In 2005, Rockhaus made a comeback, touring as the opening act for the Princes . In 2006 they went on their own East Germany tour, and the group was well received by the audience. During this tour, Rockhaus had a live DVD produced. Then Petereit went on tour with Silly and Anna Loos and produced the new André Herzberg CD Das kalte Herz .

In 2009 he worked on the Rockhaus album Positiv , and in 2012 on the Rockhaus album Treibstoff .
