Reinhold Pix (born October 28, 1955 in Stuttgart ) has been a member of the state parliament of the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen parliamentary group in the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg since 2006 . His subjects there are tourism , forestry , hunting and viticulture .

Life

After graduating from high school and doing military service, which he subsequently refused after the NATO double decision , he studied forest science in Freiburg im Breisgau .

For ten years he dealt with state development policy in the Regional Association of the Southern Upper Rhine. He was also a member of the Advisory Board of Ökobank Freiburg for ten years . In 1986 he was elected to the district assembly, where he was active as the agricultural and environmental policy spokesman for the green district assembly until he left in 2006. In the state elections in 2011 he won the direct mandate for the first time in the constituency of Freiburg I with 34.5% of the votes for the Greens. On March 13, 2016, he again achieved the direct mandate in the Freiburg I constituency in the state elections with 38.9% . Has been a member of the Rural Areas Committee since 2006 . He is spokesman for tourism, forest and game for the parliamentary group, as well as spokesman for viticulture and AK chairman for rural areas.

Reinhold Pix lives in Ihringen and is married to Helga Jakob. In 1984 they jointly founded the ecological winery H. & R. Pix. In 2017 the company was handed over to Hannes and Sonja Pix.
