Reinhold vorneider (* 1951 ) is a German cameraman .

From 1983 Vorneider studied at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin . With his graduation in 1988 he started working as a cameraman.

He was nominated for the German and Austrian film awards for his camera work on Der Räuber (2010). In 2013 he received the Marburg Camera Prize for his courageous and innovative camera work. The laudation was given by the director Angela Schanelec , with whom he has often worked together.

In February 2018 he was awarded the German Film Critics' Prize 2017 in the Best Camera category for The Dreamlike Path .
