Reiskirchen is a district of the Saar-Palatinate district town of Homburg in Saarland .
In the local dialect, the place name Reiskerje is pronounced. Today's church is the Resurrection Church on the village square in Richardstrasse.

The place with its former parish church of the Assumption of Mary was first mentioned in 1131 as a gift from Count Friedrich von Saar Werden to the Wörschweiler monastery .
The castle Beilstein is located in Reiskirchen. However, it is unclear whether this castle actually ever existed.
The place Reiskirchen formed together with Erbach the municipality Erbach-Reiskirchen. On April 1, 1936, this community was dissolved and incorporated into the district town of Homburg.
