Released is the fourth music album of American Soul - singer Patti LaBelle from the year 1980th

background

After the first three albums more or less flopped, this time Labelle worked on the album with producer Allen Toussaint , who already produced the albums Nightbirds and Phoenix with LaBelle while she was in her girl group Labelle . The album includes the international disco hit release (The Tension) and the doo-wop hit I Don't Go Shopping , which reached number 30 on the R&B charts. The album was more successful after its release than her previous albums, but the longed-for success for Patti LaBelle did not occur, so she left her music label Epic Records after the release and switched to Philadelphia International.
