After the first four albums could not establish themselves commercially, Patti LaBelle left the music label Epic Records and switched to Philadelphia International. The first album she released on Philadelphia International was The Spirit's in It in 1981 . The most famous tracks on the album are the title song of the same name, which became a disco hit, and the cover version of Judy Garlands Over the Rainbow , which she recorded as a member of the group Patti LaBelle and the Blue Belles in the mid-1960s . The latter title is one of their most famous titles to this day.
