Rembrandtstrasse 1 in Pasing (view from the Alte Allee)

The residential building at Rembrandtstrasse 1 in the Pasing district of the Bavarian capital Munich was built in 1902/03. Half of a double villa with No. 3 on Rembrandtstrasse is a protected architectural monument .

description

The neo-Renaissance house was built according to plans by the architect Conrad Klinger , who was also the client . The two-storey house with a loft extension has a bay tower with an onion dome facing the Alte Allee . Before the construction of the Protestant parish house with kindergarten and apartments, the semi-detached house was adjacent to the Ascension Church . The stairwells are in the middle of the house on both sides of the fire wall . There is an apartment with a central corridor on each floor.

House No. 1 was extensively renovated in the 2010s, with a staircase from the ground floor apartment to the newly created living spaces in the former basement being installed. This created a larger apartment over two floors. The stucco ceilings were retained during the renovation.
