René Birkenfeld
René Birkenfeld (born May 19, 1983 ) is a former German cyclist .
Birkenfeld came from the mountain bike sport and initially drove cross races from 2000 to improve his technique. In 2007 he became the German cyclo-cross champion in Auerbach . In 2009 he finished second in the same discipline. On the road , he was successful in two stages of the Oder tour in 2009 . After his sports career, he worked at Derby Cycle in the development department.
