Painted Urban
Malte Urban (born December 14, 1974 in Herford ) is a former German cyclist .
During his active time, Malte Urban was one of the few German all-rounders who was successful on the road as well as in cross-country races and on the mountain bike . From 2000 to 2003 he drove in Team Coast and started in the Giro d'Italia in 2002 and finished 134th in the overall ranking.
In the follow-up team, Bianchi , Urban successfully drove alongside Jan Ullrich . Jan Ullrich's team change at the end of the season was followed by the dissolution of Team Bianchi . Malte Urban then ended his road career and returned to the off-road sector.
Urban contested his last race as a cross professional on December 31, 2008 in Herford- Eickum at the New Year's Cross at Elisabethsee.
