René Le Hénaff

René Le Hénaff (born April 26, 1901 in Saigon , Vietnam , † January 5, 2005 in Belley , France ) was a French film editor and film director .

Life

Hénaff began his career in the field of film editing . In the 1930s he worked for René Clair ( Under the Roofs of Paris ) and Marcel Carné ( Harbor in the Fog ). He later directed the films himself , such as the Balzac film adaptation of Countess Chabert and The Involuntary Paratrooper .

He died at the age of 103.
