Renée Coleman (born January 8, 1962 in Saskatoon , Saskatchewan ) is a Canadian actress .

life and career

Renée Coleman was born in the central Canadian city of Saskatoon in 1962. In German-speaking countries, she became known for her role as Alice Gaspers in the 1992 film comedy Eine Klasse für sich with Tom Hanks , Geena Davis and Madonna in the leading roles. She played the role of Alia on the NBC television series Quantum Leap . In the mid-1990s, Coleman began to retire from the film business. She began studying mythology with a focus on depth psychology at the Pacifica Graduate Institute. In 2002 Renée Coleman successfully completed her studies with a doctorate in philosophy . In August 2012 she published her first book, Icons of a Dreaming Heart - The Art and Practice of Dream-Centered Living .

Renée Coleman lives with her husband Albert Erdynast and their four children in Santa Clarita, California .
