Renee Le Calm

Renée Le Calm (born September 18, 1918 in Paris , France , † June 8, 2019 there ) was a French actress .

Life

Renée Le Calm was born to a soldier and a nurse in the Paris suburb of Vanves . After finishing school, she worked as a waitress in Paris' Rue des Taillandiers during the Second World War and married a work colleague with whom she had a son in 1947. From 1985 to 1991 she worked as a toilet lady in a drugstore in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district .

Le Calm made her first film appearance in 1992 at the age of almost 74 as an extra in a Paris metro in Cédric Klapisch's comedy Little Fish, Big Fish . She starred in over thirty film and television productions.
