The sensuality of the material and the controlled chance are the most important means of expression in Renée Strecker's abstraction . One can assign her complete work of the style direction Lyrical Abstraction . Frequently recurring shades of color are the blue to gray palette, in the typical style of Renée Strecker, which is both delicate and powerful and creates emotional tension. She crosses the border and seeks extreme formulation by placing unusual materials in the oil painting, some of which are taken from everyday life: sand, fabric, found objects, leaf metals. In order to intensify the luminosity of the oil paint, she uses the effects of reverse glass painting in her most recent work . In her oil-behind-glass technique, she works with acrylic sheets on canvas or transforms them into luminous color objects.
