Ren Mingwei (born November 21, 1999 ) is a Chinese ice hockey goalkeeper who was most recently under contract with KRS Junior in the multinational Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja League .

Career

Ren Mingwei began his career as a hockey player with the amateur team from Harbin , for which he played in the Chinese ice hockey league at the age of 15 . In 2017 he moved to KRS Junior in the multinational Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja League .

International

In the junior division, Ren competed with China in the U18 World Championships in 2015 and 2016 , when he was voted the best goalkeeper of the tournament, but was still able to prevent relegation, in Division II and 2017 , when he was decisive with the best catch rate and the lowest average goal contributed to the immediate resurgence of the team from the Middle Kingdom, in Division III, as well as in the U20 World Cup 2017 in Division III.

For the Chinese men's selection , he was nominated for the first time at the 2017 World Cup in Division II, but was not used.
