Renate Brie-Koelmel

Renate Brie-Kölmel (born July 12, 1913 in Freiburg ) is a German director of studies and poet .

Life

Renate Brie-Kölmel was born in 1913 as the third child of the Brie family in Freiburg im Breisgau and grew up there. After studying German , English and Latin in the cities of Freiburg , Munich and Bonn, she did her dissertation in 1938 on Grimmelshausen . After spending several years in Africa after World War II , she later worked as a teacher and director of studies. In the early 1970s she gave a colloquium on contemporary German literature. Renate Brie-Kölmel was the wife of Professor Wilhelm Kölmel.

After working and teaching, Renate Brie-Kölmel devoted herself to literature in the 1980s and within a few years published several volumes of poetry with the Waldkircher Verlagsgesellschaft. In 1984, the band appeared breath , in 1986 the band followed heckling . Her third volume of poetry appeared in 1988 under the title Spurensuche . In 1991 the Waldkircher Verlagsgesellschaft finally published the volume Gesammelte Gedichte .
