Renate König-Schalinski
Renate König-Schalinski (born April 18, 1942 in Passau ; † March 23, 2011 there ) was a German painter , sculptor and enameller .
Live and act
The artist learned the profession of enamel and practiced it between 1960 and 1970. Her artistic career began in 1973 with studies at the International Summer Academy in Salzburg with Rieder and Coufal, in 1974 with Löb in Switzerland and with Herold in Bruneck, Italy. In 1977 she was guild master in the Innviertel artists' guild. From 1975 she ran a gallery in Passau. From the 1980s onwards she became known for numerous large sculptures that were set up in public places.
