Renato Salvatori

Renato Salvatori (born March 20, 1933 in Seravezza , † March 27, 1988 in Rome ) was an Italian actor .

Life

Renato Salvatori made his debut as a film actor while studying nautical science. He embodied powerful, firmly gripping types, and several gangster roles. In addition to numerous rather average films, appearances in socially committed and internationally successful films such as Z and The invisible uprising directed by Constantin Costa-Gavras or And yet they live from Vittorio de Sica are part of his work.

While filming Rocco and his brothers , he met the French actress Annie Girardot . She became his wife; with her he had a daughter, Giulia Salvatori, who was born on July 5, 1962 in Rome .
