Renkin 3-kyū: Magical? Pokān ( Japanese 錬 金 3 級 ま じ か る? ぽ か ～ ん , Renkin San-kyū Majikaru? Pokān ) is a 12-part Japanese anime television series by the REMIC studio , which is assigned to the genres Etchi , Comedy and Magical Girl .

The entire series is directed by Ken'ichi Yatagai . The musical production was headed by Lantis , who had already produced the soundtracks for the anime television series DearS , Di Gi Charat , Galaxy Angel and Onegai Teacher , and was composed by Noriyasu Agematsu .

action

The theme of the individual episodes are the stories about the unusual everyday life of four princesses from the underworld. The witch Uma ( ゆ う ま , Yūma ), werewolefin Liru ( り る , Riru ), vampire Pachira ( パ キ ラ , Pakira ) and android Aiko ( 鉄 子 , literally: "iron girl") live in a shared apartment in the human world and try their hand at to find their way around with their possibilities. Among other things, there is the scientist K-ko ( K 子 ) as a recurring supporting role , who wants to prove that the four only bring harm.

Opening and closing credits

The episodes of the series are introduced by the theme song Senketsu no Chikai (Japanese 鮮血 の 誓 い ), which is sung by Yōsei Teikoku and used throughout as the opening credits . Opposite is the credits of the individual episodes, the melody of which Shichaimashō ( し ち ゃ い ま し ょ う ) was composed by Hiroki and the text of which was written by Yasunori Ide . The different versions of the end credits are sung by the various seiyū , the Japanese voice actors for the characters Uma, Liru, Pachira and Aiko. In addition, there are four other versions that have been intoned by Nomiko .

publication

The television series was first broadcast from April 5 to June 21, 2006 shortly after midnight (and thus on the previous television day ) on the channels Chiba TV and TV Saitama . TV Aichi followed with a two-hour delay, followed by Sun TV , Tokyo MX and TV Kanagawa within a week . From April 15 to July 1, from midnight, there was a national broadcast via Kids Station . In addition to the broadcast followed a publication as a manga , which began in 2005 in the February issue of Degenki Daō .

Following the broadcast, the series was released on DVD from June 23 to October 25, 2006.
