Reto Bucher

Reto Bucher (born September 30, 1982 in Mühlau ) is a Swiss wrestler in the Greco-Roman style. He started wrestling at the age of seven. Reto Bucher is an electrician and belongs to the Freiamt wrestling squad . He is 1.80 meters tall.

• 2001, 16th place , Junior World Championship in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), with a victory over Nurym Kobenbayou , Kazakhstan and a defeat against Elizbar Machutadze , Georgia

• 2002, 12th place , European Junior Championships in Subotica (Yugoslavia)

• 2003, 21st place , EM in Belgrade, with defeats against Konstantin Schneider , Germany and Vüqar Aslanov , Azerbaijan

• 2003, 15th place , World Championships in Créteil , with victory over Ranbir Singh , India and one defeat against Marko Yli-Hannuksela , Finland

• 2004, 9th place , EM in Haparanda , with victory over Stefan Rusu, Romania and one defeat against Mikhail Ivanchenko , Russia

• 2004, 4th place , OS in Athens , with victories over Aljaksandr Kikinjou , Belarus, Njiya Saiyi , China, Daniel Khalimow , Kazakhstan and defeats against Yli-Hannuksela and Warteres Samurgaschew , Russia
