Rhodah Njobvu gained her first international experience at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow , where she was eliminated in the first round of the 400 meter run with 57.47 seconds. The following year she finished fifth at the Africa Games in Brazzaville with the Zambian 4 x 100 meter relay in 44.97 s and was eliminated over 400 meters with 54.35 s in the preliminary round. In 2016 she made it to the semi-finals at the African Championships in Durban in the 200-meter run , in which she was eliminated with 24.50 seconds. At the 2018 African Championships in Asaba , she also reached the semi-finals in the 100-meter run , in which she was eliminated with 12.09 seconds. In addition, she won the bronze medal behind the teams from Nigeria and Kenya in the Zambian four-by-400-meter relay in 3: 38.18 minutes and could not finish the race with the four-by-100-meter relay. The following year she reached the semi-finals at the Africa Games in Rabat over 200 meters, in which she was eliminated with 23.94 s and finished seventh with the Zambian relay in 47.16 s.
