Ricardo Galandi (born May 18, 1989 in Frankfurt , Oder ) is a German volleyball player .
Career
In 2001 - at the age of 12 - Ricardo Galandi was spotted by a volleyball coach while doing school sports and promoted to the youth department of the SCC Berlin . There he became vice-champion with the C and B youth. Between 2005 and 2009 he played in the youth project VC Olympia Berlin of the DVV . There he also recommended himself for the youth and junior national team, for which he took part in international competitions several times. In November 2007 Ricardo Galandi made his first division debut for SCC Berlin against rhein-main volley due to a double playing right and turned the match point to the 3-0 final score. In 2009 he completed his Abitur at Coubertin-Gymnasium in the Europa Sportpark Berlin. For the 2009/10 season Ricardo Galandi moved to the Bundesliga department of SCC Berlin, where he was German runner-up in 2011 . In the same year he was represented in the rankings of German volleyball and took first place in the service efficiency rankings of the German Volleyball League . In 2012 and 2013 , the middle blocker won the German championship title with Berlin . Then Galandi ended his active volleyball career, switched to the police service and took over a coaching position at VSV Havel Oranienburg .
