Richard Béliveau
Richard Béliveau (* 1953 in Trois-Rivières , Québec ) is a Canadian molecular biologist and physician .
Live and act
Béliveau received his PhD in molecular biology from Université Laval in 1980 . From 1984 to 2013 he was full professor of biochemistry at the Université du Québec à Montréal and from 2005 to 2012 chairholder for neurosurgery at the University Hospital of Montréal .
Béliveau is the author of numerous scientific and popular science publications on the topic of cancer prevention . In his books he points to the canceroprotective effect of food ingredients, e.g. B. omega-3 fatty acids . Recommended foods include oyster mushrooms , flaxseeds , cabbage , garlic , onions , soy , tomatoes , green tea , red wine , chocolate , ginger , turmeric and probiotics .
