Richard Bartz (born September 28, 1880 in Rützenhagen in Pomerania ; † November 20, 1955 in Oberkirch in Baden-Württemberg ) was a writer and local poet from Pomerania .

Live and act

Richard Bartz was born the son of a Pomeranian farmer. He grew up and attended school in his native Rützenhagen near Schivelbein . He chose the profession of teacher and trained for this first at the preparatory institute in Plathe and then at the teachers' seminar in Pyritz , where he passed his teacher examination.

Bartz then worked as a teacher in several Pomeranian locations: from 1900 to 1903 in Saagen near Labes , from 1904 to 1907 in Kolzow on Wollin and from 1907 to 1945 in Katschow near Dargen on Usedom .

In 1955, Bartz moved from the GDR to Oberkirch in Baden-Württemberg, where he spent his old age .

Richard Bartz wrote countless articles for the Stettiner and Swinemünde daily newspapers, in home calendars and also in the Pomeranian youth friend . In 1901 he published a collection of his poems.
