Richard Höfler
Richard Höfler (born July 18, 1964 in Memmingen ) is a German director and writer for commercials, image films and corporate films .
Life
Höfler originally comes from the Allgäu , but later moved to Ulm to finish school there. After graduating, he helped significantly in setting up the Ulmer Spielschachtel children's and youth theater . In addition to his work as a writer and director, he has also appeared on stage in countless performances. The repertoire also included well-known pieces by Otfried Preußler and Janosch .
In 1989 Höfler left the theater and worked for the Munich Film House . From 1992 he worked as an assistant director and producer for advertising , television films and cinema films worldwide. He worked u. a. together with directors like Robert Altman , Jan de Bont , Helmut Dietl , Detlev Buck and Caroline Link . Höfler has been working as a freelance director for advertising films, image films and corporate films for well-known national and international customers such as BMW , Mercedes-Benz and Toyota , as well as for the Volksbanken / Raiffeisenbanken .
Works
- Together with Peter Holzwarth he wrote the script Die Bänd - A Swabian film with subtitles .
- In 2012 Höfler initiated a project for biography films.
