Richard Jareš (born February 23, 1981 in Hradec Králové , Czechoslovakia ) is a former Czech ice hockey player who last played for the Iserlohn Roosters from the German Ice Hockey League .

Career

Richard Jareš began playing ice hockey in the youth department of HC Hradec Králové . In 1999 he moved to HC Vítkovice and played for the U20 team. For the 2000/01 season he signed with Bílí Tygři Liberec and played the first two years mainly for the junior team. In the 2001/02 season Jareš also played some games for the men's team, which made it to the extra league. From 2002 to 2005 he played 41 games in the Extraliga for Liberec. Mainly Jareš played on loan but games in the second class first division for IHC Písek , HC Berounští Medvědi and BK Mladá Boleslav . For the 2005/06 season he moved to HC Znojemsti Orli . In the 2007/08 season , Jareš scored the most goals of all defenders in the league with eleven goals. In 2008 he started the season with the HC České Budějovice team and then returned to Bílí Tygři Liberec for a year and a half. In 2010 he reached the semi-finals of the playoffs with his team and signed for the next season with HC Litvínov . In the 2011/12 season Jareš was the defender with the highest points on his team. In summer 2012 he trained with Lausitzer Füchsen from the 2nd Bundesliga and then returned to HC Litvínov for the 2012/13 season . At the beginning of August 2013, the Iserlohn Roosters from the German Ice Hockey League and Jareš signed a tryout contract that ran until September 12, 2013. In the preparation time he was able to convince, so that the Roosters extended the contract on September 8th until the end of the 2013/14 season. After another season with the Sauerland, he ended his playing career in 2015.
