Richard Löhmann

Richard August Gustav Wilhelm Löhmann (born July 21, 1845 in Glückstadt ; † September 27, 1913 in Hamburg ) was a German judge and member of the Hamburg Parliament .

Life

Löhmann studied law in Heidelberg , Berlin and Kiel and became a member of the Allemannia Heidelberg fraternity in 1863 . In December 1867 he passed the official examination in Kiel. He then became an assessor at the Altona District Court and later at the Altona District Court . In 1872 he was the sole agent of the Nagel bankruptcy at the Blankenese district court . After a station in Düsseldorf , he became state procurator in Bonn in 1874 and worked there until 1879. On October 1, 1879, he switched to the Hamburg civil service and became a judge at the Hamburg district court . In 1883 he became director at the regional court. In 1888 he moved to the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court and became President of the Senate in 1905. In 1910 he became President of the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court. He retired on February 29, 1912.

Löhmann was a member of the Hamburg Parliament from 1889 to 1907. There he was a member of the parliamentary group of the right and from 1893 to 1895 first vice-president. In 1881 he became an honorary member of the Teutonia fraternity in Kiel .
