Richard Owe

Richard Owe (born December 10, 1889 in Döbeln , † February 6, 1970 in Backnang ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After attending the community school in Rossen, Richard Owe learned the dairy trade in Rossen and Stralsund from 1904 to 1907 . From 1904 to 1906 he also attended the trade school in Rossen. He then worked in companies in the dairy industry. From 1909 to 1911 he was a member of the 1st Royal Saxon Foot Artillery Regiment 12 in Metz . From 1914 to 1918 he took part in the First World War with various foot artillery formations .

In January 1923, Owe joined the NSDAP ( membership number 29,681). In the same year he was councilor in Colditz . In 1930 he became a member of the district assembly and the district committee of the Grimma district administration . March 1933 Chairman of the Grimma District Assembly and member of the District Committee of the Leipzig District Authority and member of the Saxon Community Assembly. From October 1923 he was a member of the SA . In October 1933, Owe took over the leadership of SA Standard 179 as Obersturmbannführer, before he was entrusted with the leadership of SA Brigade 36 in Plauen in July 1935.

From November 1933 until the end of the Nazi dictatorship in the spring of 1945, Owe was also a member of the National Socialist Reichstag for constituency 29 (Leipzig) .
