Richard of Limburg-Stirum

Richard Heinrich Kurt Graf zu Limburg-Stirum (born March 28, 1874 in Berlin , † June 7, 1931 in Groß Peterwitz bei Canth ) was a German manor owner and administrative officer.

Life

Richard zu Limburg-Stirum was the son of the diplomat, politician and State Secretary Friedrich zu Limburg-Stirum and Paula nee. by Meyerinck. His brother was the district administrator Friedrich Wilhelm zu Limburg-Stirum .

After attending high school in Hirschberg in Silesia he studied at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Bonn and the Silesian Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Breslau law . In 1893 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . After completing his studies, he entered the Prussian civil service and became the master of Groß Peterwitz near Canth in Silesia. From 1912 to 1917 Limburg-Stirum district administrator of the district Lowenberg in Silesia and from 1917 to 1920 the district Neumarkt .

He married Edith Freiin von Bodenhausen on May 18, 1914 (* November 5, 1888) (divorced from Wilhelm von Eckhardstein). They had three daughters:

  • Charlotte Ludovika Paula Anna Margot Siegleite (born March 13, 1915) ∞ Wilhelm Friedrich von Lieres and Wilkau
  • Paula Ludovika Helene Edit (born January 20, 1918)
  • Feleicitas Edit Theodora (born March 3, 1920)
