location
Today about 17.0 meters long and 4.0 meters wide, northeast-southwest-oriented large stone grave is located on the "Archaeological Trail greed field " in the Fürstenauer mountains, north of Ueffeln near the L 70 in the town of Ankum in the district of Osnabrück in Lower Saxony , directly next to the parking lot. The approximately 14.8 meter long chamber is easy to see. Most of the bearing stones are preserved in situ . Seven capstones are still there, but have fallen or broken. Drilling in a stone indicates recent destruction. Only a few stones at the east end and in the south have been preserved from the edging, originally measuring around 19 × 6.5 meters. E. Sprockhoff assumes that the grave once had 10 yokes .
The Rickelmann 1 facility is located nearby .
