Rieden is a district of the community Dasing in the Swabian district of Aichach-Friedberg ( Bavaria ) and a district .

On January 1, 1972, the previously independent municipality of Rieden was incorporated into the municipality of Dasing.

geography

The parish village of Rieden is about four and a half kilometers east of Dasing. The federal motorway 8 runs south of the village . Neighboring places are Ippertshausen in the north, Schönberg in the northeast, Hehleich in the east, Adelzhausen in the southeast, Zieglbach in the south, Wessiszell in the southwest, Laimering in the west and Oberneul in the northwest.

The townscape is shaped by the Catholic parish church St. Vitus from the 18th century. The tower of the church is dated to 1767.
