Riepe is a district of Bad Fallingbostel in the Heidekreis district in Lower Saxony and, with 83 inhabitants, is the smallest of the five districts.

geography

The place is about 10 km north of the core town of Bad Fallingbostel and also about 10 km southwest of the neighboring town of Soltau on the district road 141.

The hamlets Avenriep, Neddenriep, Amtsfelde and Grubenthal also belong to Riepe.

Although Riepe is home to only 0.56 percent of the total population of Bad Fallingbostel, the place covers 17 percent of the area, which indicates the agricultural importance of Riepe. The fire station , built in 1978, also serves as a village community center and polling station and thus represents the center of the small town.

On March 1, 1974, Riepe was incorporated into the district town of Fallingbostel.

Riepe is characterized by agriculture and forestry. There are also rental apartments.

The district road K142 runs through the village in a north-south direction from Woltem to Dorfmark . The district road K141 (Willingen- Kroge ) runs from northeast to southwest through the village. There are no street names in Riepe. The place or hamlet name in connection with the consecutively assigned house number is also the house address.
