politics

Economy and Infrastructure

The village is very rural. The main industries are agriculture, forestry and tourism. Wind turbines were built in the southwest of Jettebruch . There is an inn in the village.

traffic

On the western edge of the village, the L163 road leads in a north-south direction from Soltau to Bad Fallingbostel. Until July 1, 1989, this was Bundesstraße 209 , which was downgraded because it ran parallel to the A7. From the L163 to the Böhmebrücke, the county road 143 runs from west to east through the town.

There are no street names in Jettebruch. The place name in connection with the house number assigned according to the construction sequence is also the house address. Since Fuhrhop was an independent municipality at the time of the introduction of house numbers in Prussia , Jettebruch and Fuhrhop (with Hof Bömme) each have separate numbering.

Jettebruch is on the Heidebahn . The route is part of the Deutsche Bahn network . The Jettebruch station is no longer served by passenger traffic and has been only a junction since then, although it is no longer used either . The loading track is operationally closed.
