The Rifugio Baion , also spelled Bajon, full name Rifugio Baion - Elio Boni , (German Baion hut ) is a refuge of the Domegge di Cadore section of the Italian Alpine Club CAI in the Marmarole group in the province of Belluno . The hut, which is usually open from June to the end of October, has 24 beds and a winter room with 10 beds.

The cabin is located in the municipality of Domegge di Cadore in the Cadorischen Dolomites on the vast pastures of the Col de San Pietro at 1826 m slm Dominated the Col de San Pietro is northwest of the Monte Ciastelin ( 2,570 m located), in the eastern area of Marmarole. history
The Rifugio Baion was opened in a former alpine pasture in 1971. The Sennalm , converted by the CAI section Domegge di Cadore, was built between 1892 and 1893 and managed until 1962. In addition to the former farm building that served as a refuge, the stables have also been preserved. The Rifugio Baion was modernized in 1990 and is dedicated to the former alpinist and mayor of Domegge di Cadore Elio Boni.
