Riho Embrich (born March 10, 1993 in Tallinn , Estonia ) is an Estonian - Finnish ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Toulouse Blagnac Hockey Club in the French division 2 , the third highest division in the country, since 2018 .

Career

Riho Embrich began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth division of Helsingfors IFK . In the short term, he also played for Baltica Vilnius, the Lithuanian representative in the Russian-dominated junior league Junior Hockey League Championships . After a year in the junior division of Espoo Blues , he moved to TuusKiekko in Suomi-sarja in 2013 , where he spent two years. After playing with Liikunnan Riemu from II-divisioona at the beginning of the 2015/16 season , he switched to JYP Jyväskylä in Mestis at the beginning of 2016 , but was also used by their cooperation partner JYP-Akatemia in Suomi-sarja. In 2017 he returned to Liikunnan Riemu, who had meanwhile been promoted to Suomi-sarja. A year later he moved to France, where he has since been under contract with the Toulouse Blagnac Hockey Club in Division 2 , the country's third-highest division.

International

For Estonia Embrich took part for the first time in the Olympic qualification for the Winter Games in Sochi . He later played in Division I at the 2015 , 2016 , 2017 and 2018 World Championships .
