Ring of the State of Salzburg
The Ring of the State of Salzburg is the highest award given by the State of Salzburg . It is hierarchically located above the multi-level decoration of the state of Salzburg .
Basics
The Ring of the State of Salzburg is awarded for special services to the State of Salzburg. It should be awarded to a maximum of two people a year. The award may only be given if the services are not recognized by other honors from the country. The award criteria are based on those for the badge of honor of the State of Salzburg , but are interpreted much more strictly.
Appearance
This ring of honor is a smooth gold ring with a faceted stone on which the Salzburg coat of arms is incorporated. The ring is also engraved with the consecutive number of the awarded bearer.
Award
The ring is usually handed over personally by the Salzburg governor. In addition, a certificate with the state coat of arms, the name and the original signature of the governor is presented.
