Rise Sogn is a Danish parish ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Ærø . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Ærø Herred in what was then Svendborg Amt , then to Ærøskøbing Kommune in what was then Fyns Amt . In the run-up to the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 , the parish was assigned to the Ærø municipality in 2006 , which has been part of the Syddanmark region since 2007 .

Neighboring communities are Ærøskøbing in the north, Marstal in the east and the parish Tranderup in the west .

The community had 797 inhabitants on January 1, 2020.
