The Yarrow is a river in Lancashire in the north of England .

It is a tributary of the River Douglas .

It rises from Rivington Moor near the Upper Rivington Reservoir . It flows into the Yarrow Reservoir, from where its water passes through the Anglezarke Reservoir to the Rivington Reservoir , and then finally leaves the reservoir. It passes the M61 motorway and the Leeds and Liverpool Canal . The Black Brook flows south of Chorley and widens it to flow through Yarrow Valley Park . The river's path then goes north, south of Euxton , north of Eccleston, and then through Croston . It then joins the Lostock River and joins the Douglas River east of Sollom and north of Tarleton .
